“PULL TOGETHER”
COT from the Nantan
Men, AXE’s Battleground gave us a picture of what life feels like.
The coupons brought weight. The rope brought resistance. The four-way tug brought competing directions. We face all three outside the gloom: burdens to carry, obstacles to overcome, and demands pulling us different ways.
On that rope, your effort affected every man behind you. When you found your footing and pulled together, you gave each other a fighting chance.
As your Nantan, that’s what I want us to keep building across F3 Platte—a brotherhood where we know each other well enough to recognize when somebody needs help.
Galatians 6:2 tells us to carry one another’s burdens. That takes more than sharing a workout. It takes a phone call, an honest conversation, and the willingness to follow through.
I take responsibility for helping build that culture. I also need you men beside me. I need your honesty, your ideas, and your willingness to lead. Every man here has something to contribute, and every man here will have a day when he needs somebody else.
Jesus led by serving and giving Himself for others. Following His example means getting close enough to people to share some of their weight.
Here’s our challenge: This week, find one man carrying something heavy and take one concrete step to help. Listen. Bring a meal. Show up. And if you’re that man, give a brother the opportunity to stand beside you.
The workout ends here. Our responsibility to each other goes with us.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for these men. Help me lead them with humility and care. Give us eyes to notice who is struggling, courage to ask for help, and love that follows through. Teach us to carry one another’s burdens and serve like Jesus. Help us be a light in the area where you live, work, and play.
In His name, amen.
Ball of Man.
End in Prayer.
